| Ive been really bored today. Beats being at school though. I played My Chemical Romance songs all day on guitar cause theres actually a challenge playing some of those songs and solos. I'm not really into Nascar anymore but Jeff Gordon almost beat the shit outta Matt Kenseth today. It was awesome, I wish Jeff woulda put him in a coma cause he deserved it. Shadow has been running around on 2 legs like its nothing, but she can't live like that. I hope she gets better soon, I know she hates being stuck around the house all day. Oh, and I might actually go to my senior prom cause I might have a date (so many girls want me), so don't give up on me yet. But everyone tells me I should go, and I AM a senior so I guess they're right. I'm still undecided though, but at least there's someone who wants to go with me!
Johnny's Final Thought: So many people are worried about what others think to live the way they want to live. It's sad that almost everyone is so superficial and artificial. It's all about looks and image. And almost everyone is fake. The one's you know you can trust and who will always love you no matter how you look or how popular you are or how rich you are or how poor, its the ones that can see past all that and not judge you by what you were wearing last Friday or your your hairstyle or the brand of shoes you have. None of that is important cause years from now no one is gonna remember any of that, its not gonna matter. So live for yourself and you will know that your friends and family will love you for who you really are and image will never be a question as to who's your friend. Those who care about the image aren't worth having as friends, no matter how 'popular' or cool they are. | | |
| Today was cool cause it was Friday (now its Saturday really). We had career day and I went to a few places I didnt sign up for. And then when I got home I found out my dog, Shadow, wasn't gonna die after all. Even though her stomach wound is gonna be alright Im not sure how good her leg is doing, which is bad cause she only has 3 legs and she cant really lose another one. And then I told my parents I got a D+ on my grade card and they were cool with it, which is unbelievable. My dad was like "I got D's all the time when I was in school" and I think I felt worse about it cause I DIDN'T get in trouble, I was expecting it. I watched some hockey tonight and the game was f'n awesome and really violent, and my team won. Then Angelina called me and we talked for like 2 hours even though we weren't supposed to because she's grounded until tomorrow. And now Im here typing about my day.
Don't you hate when people are really full of themselves? Like when they think the world revolves around them and they think everyone should bow down to them. Yeah I hate that too. How do people end up like that? What makes one person think theyre better than another? I really don't know the reasons. But I know when a person thinks they're better than everyone else, they want everyone to know it too. They're loud and they flaunt and they put on a show. Eventually, people begin thinking that the stuck-ups better than them after they see it for a while. This is wrong. The worst part about stuck-up people is they never admit to being stuck-up, even though they know exactly what theyre doing. Money isn't everything, it doesn't make anyone better. I think money kills people because it gets to their head. They buy expensive things just to make others feel inferior and to make themselves look better. Perhaps because they are trying to compensate for their own insecurities, who knows. | | |
| I had a great time last night at the concert. I thought we (The Stick Shifts) did a pretty damn good job for only practicing a week. I'm so proud of Jon, I knew he could do it and he did awesome!!! If he missed a beat, then I sure didnt notice it! Josh did great as well. His voice was like music to my ears!! And can you believe he learned all those bass lines this week!! And I don't wanna brag, but its hard as hell to make one guitar sound good. But I'm a pro so it was just another night of playing for me. We WILL have our OWN songs at the next concert, I hate feeling like a poser.
Radio Revolt were great too, of course they were the stars of the show. My favorite song they did was All My Life, I got a headache from headbanging during that one! Its a shame they didnt have more time to practice cause I know they could have been perfect. Sometimes it seemed that Matt and Brad were the only ones who knew what they were doing. I hope JD's bass is in tune now! But they did great and they rocked the house. I hope they play again soon cause it was fun. | | |
